Tell us more about your photo by sharing a brief artist statement or answering this prompt: "This is what being ______ means to me..."
This is what being unapologetically black lesbians means to me, to have moments of comfort, safety, and abundance of carefree love for one another in a world that has held onto the message that black queer lesbian women are not seen, heard, loved or wanted. Black lesbians belong. Black lesbians are worthy of safe and comforting love. Black lesbians deserve to be seen and represented always.
Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text for future visitors to this website. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags and a vibrant crowd celebrating LGBTQ+ pride."
