[Artist Statement] Tell us more about your photo by sharing a brief artist statement OR answering this prompt: "This is what being ______ means to me..." (Max. 100 words)
I am the photographer behind this image. What began as a photo shoot to explore drag and masculine identity with my non-binary friend, ultimately evolved into a celebration - showcasing their love with their new partner. They had become an official couple the evening prior, and I simply needed a shot of the two of them together. Their affection for one another was palpable.
[Visual Description] Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags."
A queer Black couple, adorned in matching leather jackets, stand on a street corner.
