[Artist Statement] Tell us more about your photo by sharing a brief artist statement OR answering this prompt: "This is what being ______ means to me..." (Max. 100 words)

Jules (she/they) is a queer photographer based
in Paris, originally from Cali, Colombia and raised
in Guatemala City. Graduating from NYU’s Gallatin
School of Individualized Studies with a concentration
in the Catharsis of Creativity and its Therapeutic Means;
now she is continuing their Post Graduate studies in

Jules' primary focus lies in capturing the essence
of queer and/or Latinx Individuals and spaces. Through
analog and digital photography, her aim is to spotlight
the richness, diversity and sensitivity within her
subjects; offering a more personal and vulnerable face
from the one they are used to presenting to the world.

[Visual Description] Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags."
